Advanced Midi Gate
Free VST plugg-ins Advanced Midi Gate Advanced midi gate is a chopper. It can be used to easily mute an audio/vsti track via midi. AMG is different to other midi gates because: - the envelope can control a filter instead of a vca / - the envelope is tighter than most other midi gates / - noise can be added to the signal to make the sound more aggresive / - either the left or right channel can be delayed slightly to fatten the sound / - when you stop your sequencer, the plugin disables itself so that you can edit the gated track without having to switch the plugin off / - there is an autopan section that can throw the signal to alternate speakers each time the gate is triggered / - the autopan, filter and noise sections all have bpm synced lfos for more sonic possibilities

Chopper
Free VST plug in ChopperChopper is a pattern controlled gate. When used on a stereo track you can widen the sound by delaying the right channel or by using the flipflop pan which switched the pan for each gate trigger.

Glitch
Free VST Filters GlitchGlitch chops up your audio in real-time and applies a variety of effects which can either be chosen at random, manually sequenced, or a mixture of both. The sounds it generates range from quite subtle to extremely bizarre, depending on how much you tweak the controls.

Skidder 1.4
VST effects Skidder 1.4Skidder turns your sound on and off. While that may not sound very rewarding, you have a great deal of control over the rate, pulsewidth, on/off slope, panning width, etc. You can also relinquish some control to randomization. Skidder can also sync with your song tempo and can be triggered by MIDI notes.
